Financial Resources
Tuition for The Liberty School’s 2025–2026 school year is $21,500. Families may select a 12-month, 10-month, or quarterly payment plan.

We recognize that choosing an independent school can create financial strain for families and extended families. At the same time, we are committed to making a Liberty School education as accessible as possible. Below are several options designed to help reduce the cost of tuition.

Title
THE LIBERTY SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Liberty School offers a limited number of need-based scholarships. Awards are determined by a committee that reviews each application holistically, considering factors beyond household income alone. We strongly encourage families to use the bottom section of the application form to explain their financial circumstances and the reasons they are requesting scholarship support.

ACE SCHOLARSHIPS
In March 2023, The Liberty School became a partner school with ACE Scholarships of Colorado. Since 2000, ACE has helped more than 66,000 students access private school education—and they may be able to help your family as well. Like Liberty’s program, ACE awards scholarships based on financial need.

529 PLANS
Did you know? A 529 plan isn’t just for college. Since 2018, families can withdraw up to $10,000 per year tax-free to pay for private, public, or religious K–12 tuition. New legislation now allows even more K–12 education expenses to qualify—making a 529 plan an even more flexible way to support your child’s learning.

MEDICAL DEDUCTIONS
Many parents have been able to deduct Liberty School tuition as a medical expense. The IRS recognizes dyslexia as a medical condition that may qualify for special-education deductions when a child attends a school designed to address learning disabilities. For details on how to claim this deduction, refer to the Special Education section of IRS Publication 502.
