New & Current Family Information
Tuition for the 2024-2025 school year is $19,500. Once you've been accepted to The Liberty School please submit the following: ​

Our online enrollment/tuition payment/liability and medical forms which can be accessed by clicking this link. Current families must complete these forms by May 26th to ensure their student's placement.

A signed record release form which can be downloaded here (for first-time applicants only).

Reports from other educational service providers who work with the student (for first-time applicants only).

An IEP and/or 504 if the student has one at their current school (for first-time applicants only).

A $100 Application Fee (for first-time applicants only).

A $500 non-refundable deposit to secure the student's placement.

A $200 Technology & Supply Fee. This fee goes towards the costs of student technology, online subscriptions, and school supplies. We do not ask our families to purchase school supplies at the beginning of the school year as typically practiced at other schools.

Tuition & Fees
Tuition for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year has been set at $19,500, Tuition income accounts for only about 72% of our operating costs, and this increase, was made primarily to improve compensation for our language tutors, and to continue to provide highly impactful education. Our technology/supply fee will remain at $200 to help the school procure and maintain Chromebooks, educational technology licenses and software, and daily supplies like paper, dry-erase markers, and other supplies.

The Liberty School partners with TUIO, an online payment platform for tuition and school fees management. Through their platform you are able to view and pay your invoices electronically at any time via the following ways:

Online payment via ACH withdrawal (electronic check, similar to pre-authorized debit). There is no additional charge to you to use ACH as The Liberty School has agreed to cover those costs.

Credit card. Credit card use includes $0.35 + 3.5% in processing fees.

When you set up your account, your monthly tuition invoices will be issued to your TUIO account the 1st of every month and will be due the 15th of that month. Note: If you choose the "Pay Upfront" payment plan option, payment will be processed right away. Please keep this in mind when setting up your account.

Payment Plans
You will have 4 payment options to choose from:
1) A full payment which will be due August 15th.
2) A quarterly payment plan with payments being due August 15th, November 15th, February 15th, May 15th.
3) A 10-month payment plan. Payments run through August 15th through May 15th.
4) A 12-month payment plan. Payment will run monthly from July 15th to June 15th. Note: This yearly payment plan is a one-time offer that was created this year to help folks affected by the COVID-19 economic crisis.

To Set Up Your TUIO Account
Families will receive an activation email (one per family) from TUIO, which contains instructions to set up your account password. Please activate and set up your account & payment method when you receive the invitation. At the time you set up the account, you will be able to view your first invoice to pay your down payment (if you already haven't paid it). TUIO will send you email notifications when the first invoice is issued, and you will also be notified when your payment is successfully received.
If you do not receive any email, check your spam folder and add TUIO to your contacts. If that does not help, send a note to support@tuiopay.com to ensure that they have the correct email address on file. Once your account is activated, you can edit your name and email address on the account if necessary and set up payment instructions for your upcoming invoices. Who will be processing my payments?
When it comes to processing payments, TUIO has partnered with the industry leading top player, processing over US $80 billion annually in more than 40 currencies and has 3,000 employees globally. Due to their extensive presence in the payment processing industry for the last 20 years, it is highly likely that you have already had your payments processed by our partner without knowing it.
Where will my data be stored?
Please note that TUIO does not store any sensitive financial information, such as your bank account or credit card details. Instead, those data points are encrypted as soon as you enter them, and they are transmitted to large financial institutions that need to know them in order to transmit your funds.
For the data points that TUIO does store in order to let you access your TUIO account, such as your email address and TUIO password, TUIO works with the industry leader AWS (Amazon Web Services), which is Amazon’s branch for server infrastructure. AWS offers the most secure cloud infrastructure on the market and is used by hundreds of government agencies such as the CIA, and many Fortune 500 companies such as Netflix and Kellogg’s.
Volunteer Requirements
Not only will volunteering help you feel connected and invested with the school, your volunteer hours can be a powerful inclusion for the multitude of grants The Liberty School applies for. The Liberty School requires 10 hours of volunteering from each Liberty family.
Parents can sign up to help the school in a variety of ways, including fluency reading, building and property maintenance, holiday decorating, field-trip supervision, office assistance, etc. Our volunteer needs and details are communicated via emails and the weekly newsletter.
