About Admissions

Thank you for your interest in the Liberty School. We endeavor to provide a personalized and informative experience for all families throughout the admission process. The goal of the admission process is to determine if a prospective student and the programming at Liberty is a good fit, therefore creating a successful learning experience for your child. We encourage you to review our website and application materials, complete the pre-application form, and schedule a tour of the school.

The Liberty School is committed to providing dyslexic, twice exceptional and gifted children with meaningful educational experiences that strengthen their curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills. We provide a comprehensive and exciting curriculum.

Admission to the Liberty School is selective and based on a review of criteria that support our school’s mission. In carrying out our educational mission, the Liberty School is committed to creating an environment that embraces and supports diversity. The Admission Committee takes great care in accepting children we believe will thrive in this differentiated learning environment. Information gathered from the student’s academic achievement testing (WISC IV and others), application questionnaire, student records, teacher evaluations, and the student visit are utilized in making an informed decision regarding an applicant. The Admission Committee’s primary goal is to ensure that each child is in the most rewarding and productive environment, and is among intellectual peers.

We trust the information available on our website will be of assistance and we look forward to working with your family.
